What are the costs?
The costs associated with Asbestos Audit Pty Ltd providing
your Asbestos Audit varies according to the size and
complexity of the building(s). Your Asbestos Audit includes;
- The ASBESTOS AUDIT;
- The ASBESTOS REGISTER;
- Your company's ASBESTOS MANAGEMENT PLAN;
- Your company's STAFF HANDBOOK, and;
- Your ASBESTOS CONTROLLER'S HANDBOOK
SAMPLE ANALYSIS
It is important that samples of material suspected to
contain Asbestos fibres are only taken by an experienced
technician and analysed by a NATA accredited laboratory.
Any samples taken by Asbestos Audit Pty Ltd are
examined in accordance with the methodology outlined in the
Australian Standards (AS 4964 – 2004) – Method for the
Qualitative Identification of Asbestos in Bulk Samples.
The average turnaround time for results is approximately
3 working days. In some circumstances results can be
arranged sooner.
The results of the sample will be given to you in a
certificate which also outlines the type of asbestos
contained within the product if applicable.
Our fee for collecting and analysing samples is $180 +
GST for the first sample and $85 + GST for any additional
samples taken at the same time.
