IAQ – Air Monitoring and Analysis Services

Global Asbestos Audit Scientific Services has experience in sampling and the subsequent monitoring of a wide range of atmospheric pollutants.

We can provide a comprehensive service for environmental pollutant monitoring in internal and external air using appropriate sampling and analytical techniques.

These programmes are tailored to suit the requirements of the project, whether long term or short term.

Short-term monitoring may be provided by sampling on to a filter or other media to give a snapshot of the atmospheric quality.

Range of Services

Global Asbestos Audit Scientific Services is continually extending the range of analyses available for environmental air monitoring, and at present, we cover the following contaminants:

  • Lead and other metals
  • Sulphur dioxide
  • Total smoke and particulate
  • Total Respirable dust (PM5-PM10)
  • NOx by the diffusion tube method
  • Volatile organic compounds (including Benzene, Toluene and Xylene)
  • Carbon monoxide
  • Carbon dioxide
  • Total hydrocarbons
  • Micro-organisms

Long-term monitoring for environmental assessment baseline studies may contain regular exchange of sampling equipment with the client to produce a complete picture of the prevailing atmospheric conditions.

In all projects, the resultant report will contain comprehensive data interpretation that can include comparison with published reports.

Air monitoring – Active feedback sites

Global Asbestos Audit can supply, install and maintain active air monitoring sites anywhere in Australia.

These sites meet the stringent specifications required by today’s legislation and will provide live data streams for decades to come.
